The Healthy U wellness year runs from Jan. 1–May 31, 2022. Per Article 21.A.3.c, the only requirement is completion of an annual health assessment for Highmark PPO subscribers and their enrolled spouse. Failure to complete the assessment will result in a 10% penalty added to your health insurance premium for the period July 1, 2022–June 30, 2023. The current health assessment is Sharecare’s RealAge Test. If you have not yet completed the RealAge Test, you will be required to agree to the annual ADA and GINA authorization when you create or log into your existing account. You do not need to agree to the HIPAA authorization to complete the RealAge Test. PA FACULTY HEALTH AND WELFARE FUND

The PA Faculty Health & Welfare Fund website (pafac.com) is no longer active. Please refer to the resources below or contact the PAFAC H&W Fund Administrator at 844-865-1137 for information and assistance.

Benefits for part-time faculty:

Part-time faculty who work 25% to 49% of full-time are eligible for member only benefits. Part-time faculty who work 50%–99% of full-time are eligible for member benefits AND their lawful spouses or same-sex domestic partners are eligible for benefits. The term “spouse” includes any same-sex spouse. Unless a part-time faculty member is working at least 50% of full-time, his or her spouse/eligible same-sex domestic partner will not be eligible for benefits.
