My name is Chloe Kissinger, and I am a student at Millersville University majoring in government and political affairs. This fall, I will be entering my junior year. During my time at Millersville, I have been employed by the Campus Recreation Department. Outside school, my interests include reading books (both fiction and nonfiction), going to concerts, and learning how to crochet.
This summer, I am proud and excited to have the opportunity to work with APSCUF. My career aspiration is to continue working in the government, so getting this experience during a negotiation year and a new gubernatorial administration will be highly beneficial. This summer, I hope to gain a unique perspective on union work as a student within the State System, something I have previously only seen from the outside looking in.
I look forward to seeing how my experience in community outreach and activism will serve here at APSCUF and what I will gain from this experience. Working for an organization that is passionate about the same ideals I am is inspiring, and I cannot wait to see what I can contribute to APSCUF’s mission!
